Something Blue

I was browsing through my favorites on Etsy and I realized that I have a lot of light blue/teal favorites. So, I thought, why not group them together in a lovely blog entry? Maybe someday I'll even try my hand at making a treasury with these, but who knows - I still don't quite understand treasuries. Starting from top left and moving clockwise: Blossom Stationery Letter Set by Feterie, Blue and Green [...] Amethyst Drop Earrings [...] by seababes, Bride and Groom Thank You Cards by Eyelet Sage Studio (me), and last but certainly not least Azure Skies Fresh Briolette Necklace by Jacaranda Designs.

Outside of my window...

It was beautiful outside today, albeit a bit chilly. So, I observed the beauty of the day from inside my cozy house. But, looking outside did inspire me color-wise. I wouldn't have necessarily put these colors together but who am I to contradict the artistry of the Creator? So, here's a little inspiration for today :).

Red, blue, and rainboots :)

And now...a little red and blue inspiration for the evening. It started out as just red, but as soon as I found the picture of the poppy with that blue sky - I had to alter it! There's something about that combination that is both surprising (I used to not like it) and cheerful. I couldn't help add the Naturalizer rain boots. I received a pair myself as a gift from my boyfriend, and I've been excited for rainy days ever since!

Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice

I just finished watching the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice and I couldn't help but notice the beautiful colors in one of the last scenes where Lizzie and Mr. Darcy are walking and end up engaged. These colors are from her outfit (modified colors). I'm not usually a fan of orange, but in this case, with the combination of the light blue, I loved it. One of the reasons I love the different theatrical versions of these movies is because they are so beautiful to watch.
