Adorable Etsy Shop!

I like most of the vinyl decal shops on Etsy, but Mae surpasses them all in terms of children decorations. And it's because they're not vinyl at all - they're fabric! And they come in adorable fabrics and are reusable and washable. This is what Mae says on her

A Busy Day Today

Good morning, everyone. I hope your nights went well and your days go even better today :). I'm going to be super busy today trying to photograph and list all of my newly finished items, so I won't have time to do an indepth blog entry. But I didn't want to leave you hanging, so I thought I'd leave you today with a couple of items from my favorites list :). And I'm pretty sure all but the first one of these are from the BNS thread that I was talking about a couple of days ago.

Mini Feature: Fleur Avenue

While I was poking around in the Etsy forums yesterday, I came across this shop that captures just what I like about jewelery called Fleur Avenue. Not only are the jewelery designs sweet and feminine, but you can find ones that are super unique and whimsical. And, her photography is amazing! She's from Singapore and if anyone else is from there (or will be visiting there), she will be at the Red Dot Museum at Tanjong Pagar from 11am-7pm on June 6th and 7th - according to her shop announcement. Too bad I live halfway around the world! It's be fun to go and check out her work in person. Also make sure to stop by and check out her blog - it's a sort of behind-the-scenes look at what goes on at Fleur Avenue!

My Favorites' Jewelry Box: What I'm saving for the Birthday List

1. This Fruity Fun Flower Necklace from Jamie's Jewels is so much fun for summer. I just love the colors - I can imagine pairing it with a fun sundress, or even with a plain white t-shirt and jeans. Etsy jewelry is so awesome!

2. I love these Pearl Nest Earrings from Dogberry Hill Studio. There's even a necklace that's the same design but with blue eggs. They're just so fun and spring like. :) This one is definitely on my birthday list for this year, as long as it doesn't sell out before my birthday comes!

3. I almost hate to feature this beautiful Ophelia necklace from Mia Sophia on Etsy because I just love it. It's been on my favorite's list for awhile now, but with little cash flow I can't afford to buy it myself right now. I keep secretly hoping that it won't sell for awhile so I can buy it myself someday, but then again I want Mia Sophia to keep making beautiful necklaces like this so she can keep her shop open. But honestly, isn't this necklace gorgeous?? I think I decided that my birthday list this year is going to consist of items I've found on etsy. I keep finding such wonderful things!

Beige and Pink

1) I just LOVE these little birds from Primitives for Sale on Etsy. At 29.99 I think they're very reasonably priced and ultra-cute! They'd be great for decoration, or even as a wedding cake topper (just make sure you put them on top of something so they don't get icing all over them!) This is definitely my ultimate favorite find of today. I put them on my favorites - someday I may get some - they're just too cute!

2) I also adore this hat and scarf set from Niki Fashion on Etsy. The extra little embellishment of the flowers gives it that little touch that puts it over the top of other hats and scarves.

3) These earrings, are simple but fun. They're from Carolina's Creations on Etsy. The copper is perfect for the stones. It makes it look a bit antique :).

Etsy Find: Just Another Day

I just discovered my new favorite etsy store, Just Another Day. I happily stumbled across the designer on We Love Etsy this weekend, and then I found her on Twitter! :) Networking sites never cease to amaze me at how small this world is.

These cards I found (she does many other things including stationery and pushpins) are absolutely adorable! I think my favorite is the birdcages, but it's hard to decide - there are so many cute things to look at! Go on over to her Etsy shop and check it out - maybe even purchase a card or two for your mom for mother's day! :)
