Have you seen the new Safari?

So I'm usually not a big fan of Safari on the Mac - I usually use Firefox (and am now) because I just like the way it runs better. I mainly use Safari so I can have my personal and business email open at the same time.

Last night I had to run an update, which updated Safari. I didn't think it would change anything, but when I opened it this morning it was crazy! Take a look! (Don't look too closely or you'll see all the top sites I visit!)

But basically this is the opening page for Safari. It has little thumbnails of all the sites you visit on a regular basis or in my case, most of the site I visit on Safari period. You can click on any of these thumbnails and it'll take you directly to that website. Kind of cool, right? And if you're on one website, you just need to click the grid icon in the upper left hand corner to go back to that screen.

I guess Apple wanted to integrate it more into their other programs. It definitely looks a lot more like iTunes now than a web browser. I don't know though, I'm kind of liking it :). Take a look here to see what Apple is saying about it.

  4. Hehe...Trisha, they are very nice and shiny (i'm pretty fond of mine). They do make Safari for PCs - I'm not sure how it compares though.

  5. I love using a Mac and this Safari is very nice but what I'm really looking forward to is the release of Snow Leopard in September - this upgraded operating system looks awesome!!
We have 3 Macs in our house and I would never own a PC again.
